MikhailModeratorSeems, you do everything right.
Is there any controller manual with request-response examples?
MikhailModeratorThe plan for the future is that a user creates a project on any computer and then deploy (publish) the project on a working Rapid SCADA instance.
Probably, you mean some kind of back import from runtime configuration to a project. This may be an extension for the Administrator app.
We are going to create new generation of Administrator where configuration process will be more solid. And may be this problem will disappear.
MikhailModeratorWhen we complete this module, you can specify SQL request to retrieve data from a database which has any structure. We are going to support Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL and MySQL. You don’t need files working with DB.
MikhailModeratorHi,
You have to create an output channel and specify it in a scheme or a table view.
What is a particular issue? You can’t display a form to input a value or you can’t store it into a variable?
MikhailModeratorHi,
In this year it’s planned to develop a module that will receive data from a 3rd party database as input. As for me, Excel is not a good data source because it is not stable.May 29, 2018 at 2:39 pm in reply to: ScadaAgent not included in the V5.5.2 Installation Package #3767
MikhailModeratorHi,
Agent is not included in the distributive package. You should install it separately. At least in this year, it will be a separate application.
MikhailModeratorHi Peter,
I suggest to create an issue on GitHub https://github.com/bersim/OpenKPs/tree/master/KpMQTT
If you do this, the author of this driver receives a notificationIf you need, the dlls are here
MikhailModeratordoes rapid scada have a text box where i can set a value and then send it to the Modbus Device
Yes. You need:
1. Create an output channel.
2. Specify this channel in a scheme or a table view.
3. Configure a command in your Modbus template. Also read this article.
In case of follow up questions, ask here.
MikhailModeratorProbably, you should create a plugin that provide a gauge as a control to insert into a scheme. The example is PlgSchBasicComp
May 23, 2018 at 12:12 pm in reply to: Modbus Comminicating only 4 device 5th and others not connect #3753
MikhailModeratorHi,
Could you translate the error message?
I suppose, the log says that we can’t connect to a device. Is it possible that the device doesn’t support several connections in parallel? Are you sure that the port 530 is correct? Usually 502 is used.
For testing, you can try Hercules utility to connect. What is the result of this test? The forum does not allow to upload images, just links to them.
MikhailModeratorI’ll push some drivers in the future.
Would be great.
This list integrated in each Webstation app is prototype of a gallery. When there are more modules, we can create filters and other features. May be add such web page on our website.
MikhailModeratorThe Roadmap is added to the docs http://doc.rapidscada.net/content/en/software-overview/roadmap.html
MikhailModeratorI was thinking about it too.
What do you mean talking about a gallery?
I just created scada-community repository. I hope, it will be used for the purpose you talk about.
“scada” repository is for core applications and modules.
MikhailModeratorProbably it’s better. Maybe this will be changed in the future to nuget.
Thank you.
MikhailModeratorThank you too. You helped to find and fix the bug!
