does rapid scada have a text box where i can set a value and then send it to the Modbus Device

    Yes. You need:
    1. Create an output channel.
    2. Specify this channel in a scheme or a table view.
    3. Configure a command in your Modbus template.

Probably, you should create a plugin that provide a gauge as a control to insert into a scheme. The example is PlgSchBasicComp

    Hi,

Could you translate the error message?
I suppose, the log says that we can’t connect to a device. Is it possible that the device doesn’t support several connections in parallel? Are you sure that the port 530 is correct? Usually 502 is used.
For testing, you can try Hercules utility to connect. What is the result of this test?

The forum does not allow to upload images, just links to them.

I’ll push some drivers in the future.

    Would be great.

This list integrated in each Webstation app is prototype of a gallery. When there are more modules, we can create filters and other features. May be add such web page on our website.

I was thinking about it too.
What do you mean talking about a gallery?
I just created scada-community repository. I hope, it will be used for the purpose you talk about.
“scada” repository is for core applications and modules.

Probably it’s better. Maybe this will be changed in the future to nuget.
    Thank you.

You should allow incoming connections for the TCP port 10002 in the settings of Windows firewall to enable access to Agent.

    Hi,
The existing Link component allows to redirect to another scheme where you can put needed components. It is planned to add a popup dialogs feature for links in this year.

    You can do a trick:
    1. Create a folder C:\SCADA\ScadaWeb\plugins\SchBasicComp\lang\
    2. Copy the PlgSchBasicComp.en-GB.xml into this folder.

The fix of this bug will be included in the next version of Rapid SCADA.

The web app must be in C:\SCADA\ScadaWeb because of this bug. Is it?

Control RAM on Linux. Agent uses WCF technology that has a memory leak bug on Mono .NET Framework.

I suppose, the cause is your localization. I reproduced the bug. What culture did you set for Rapid SCADA?

Also try unblocking the DLLs in C:\SCADA\ScadaWeb\bin
    See this.
