I can see that the equal response comes back twice from the device. If requested number of register differs (the last 2 bytes), it causes PDU length error. If it’s equal, Communicator can’t detect an error. You can get the meaning of bytes by http://modbus.rapidscada.net/

Do you have any idea, why the device responses twice?

    Hi,
First of all, check the existence of data in the file h170331.dat using Server user interface as you did earlier.

Can you check the installed Silverlight? Open this website using Internet Explorer. Does it work?

    Very interesting information. Thank you.
I think, the most simple way is changing user for ScadaServerService and ScadaCommService. Pay attention, that the user must be PC administrator.

Also open the Server app, go to Files > Hourly Data, and compare the values in the archive. Are they equal starting from some moment? Provide screenshots, please.

    Hi,
Let’s compare the packets sent to and received from the devices. You can copy the communication log from C:\SCADA\ScadaComm\Log\lineXXX.log

    Hi,
Rapid SCADA installation package contains Silverlight x64. I think, you should download and install Silverlight x32.

Such a funny bug. Do you have any idea why the current year for the user system is 2560?

Please, see C:\SCADA\ScadaComm\Log\ScadaCommSvc.log Is there 2560 year too?

The applications that have graphical user interface work as your logged in user, whereas Server and Communicator services work as system.

Try opening Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services and changing the user for ScadaServerService and ScadaCommService

File name is a date YYMMDD. It’s strange that the files were created like your current year is 1960.

Could you see Minute Data, are the files also have names like m60xxxx.dat?
Please post here a content of C:\SCADA\ScadaServer\Log\ScadaServerSvc.txt

You enabled Static Content Compression but not enabled Common HTTP Features > Static Content. Just enable it and install the Webstation app.

In the logs you can see that manually you send command to device 41, but automatically to device 401.

    Hi,

It’s a bit unusual. Go to the Server app, open Files > Hourly data and check whether raw hourly data exist or not. Also check Saving parameters of Server.

We can quickly solve the issue via remote connection, but it is a commercial service.

    Hi,
I think, you should check command data. See Device Data tab in Communicator, scroll to the commands. Compare the command with manually sent commands.
If you can’t find the difference, post here the kpXXXX.txt and lineXXX.log. They are in C:\SCADA\ScadaComm\Log
