    Hi

I am creating a project using Unitronics PLCs.
The Slave address table for the PLC is as per below

    unitronics modbus

    Coils
    Offset 0000 Memory bits
    Offset 3000 System Bits
    Offset 4000 Inputs
    Offset 5000 Outputs

I can see the offset 0000 bits just fine but when I try to change the start element address in Device Template editor to 4000 so I can see the digital inputs the communication Fails and I get illegal data address errors in the communication line log.

Do you have any advice on what I may be doing wrong??

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Try to use address 4001.
If it doesn’t help, post here a part of communication line log.
If you are able to receive a log of successfull communication with another application, you may use http://modbus.rapidscada.net/ tool to get all the details of polling and use this information in the template.
