ParticipantHi Mikhail ,
C:\SCADA\ScadaWeb\plugins\Chart\lang\PlgChart.en-GB.xml YES exists as does the en-GB file in the Chartpro folder. Here is the latest from the ScadaWeb.log … as you see I’m using Chartpro to generate the Excel files…

ParticipantHi Mikhail ,
In Webstation I had the ‘Application Parameters’ ‘Culture’= “” at first , I have now changed them to “en-GB” as I am British , but the excel file is still showing the column headings as [ValColTitle].Thanks

ParticipantDear Mikhail ,
Many thanks , that fixed it .
Kind Regards

ParticipantThank you Mikhail , thank you Manjey .
Yes I see that I should not add the delay in the formula . I will try what you said about making another channel and using a timestamp for comparison .
As always thank you.

ParticipantHi , yes it did happen again even after updating to the latest version .
—I have found the problem that caused the Webstation to grind to a halt —
I had a ‘calculated real’ channel that was writing events , unfortunately the input was changing very fast , this caused the Server events .dat file to get very big , over 68Mb in a short time and then slow the whole web station down to a crawl .
Once I turned off the ‘write events’ on the channel the issue stopped .
Hope this helps , Rich

ParticipantHi All
On a final note … how do I add screen shots on here ?Rich Ex
ParticipantAll sorted !
Thank you gentlemen , I was near but missed the Cmd out !
So to enter data by hand into a table and make it usable ….
Add an INPUT Channel , (231 in my case ) ,Type = Calculated real , enter the OUTPUT Channel on the same line (1231 in my case).
Then …
Add an OUTPUT ,command type = Standard , tick FORMULA used , formula = SetVal(231,Cmd) .Hope this helps .
Thanks Again

ParticipantHi Mikhail ,
No I have none of what you mention .
It was a very strange issue .
I have fixed it now , I had to uninstall and then reinstall the software for Rapid Scada and now it is working again , this does show that it was not actually Rapid Scada that caused the problem I suppose so may have been a windows related issue as I did notice that there were Win10 updates waiting to be installed after the restart .Thank you Sir for your help

ParticipantHi ,
Think I have found it myself , CnlStat ..
So If CnlStat>0 we have a good signal on this channel , thats my understanding .
Is this correct .Thanks
RichRich Ex
ParticipantHi Mikhail ,
Thanks very much for the info , understood .
I now have the SetVal working , I was trying to use it in the result channel and not the source channel .Thank you.

ParticipantHi Mikhail ,

ParticipantHi Mikhail ,
Sorry I cant provide a link , my work is behind a secure firewall .
Basically I have a counter , signal 1 from my Scada device which is set to channel 201 “real” , this works fine each hour , example — 06:00 total 33 , 07:00 total 70, 08:00 total 99 , 09:00 total 133 and so on .
I need to get an hourly usage total so I can show Kw/h .
I have channel 210 set up as a “hourly discrete” reading Val(201) but all it shows is the same as channel 201 , i want it to show just the count for that hour , example 06:00 total 33 , 07:00 total 37, 08:00 total 29 , 09:00 total 34 and so on .Thank you
