ParticipantHi friends ,
My system was working fine but now Webstation is taking a very long time to change pages or show data.
I am doing all this at the local machine so I have no network issues .
Even if I just try to bring up the ‘About’ info it take about 3 minutes to change .
It was working fine and nothing has changed , its the same on Chrome , Edge and Firefox browsers… I cant seem to see an issue so help please .Thanks Richard

MikhailModeratorHi,
Problem like this is difficult to diagnose. Did you check CPU and memory load in Device Manager?
May be the problem is related to network configuration. I mean if web requests go by wrong routes. Please also check network adapters: do you have virtual adapters created by other applications?

ParticipantHi Mikhail ,
No I have none of what you mention .
It was a very strange issue .
I have fixed it now , I had to uninstall and then reinstall the software for Rapid Scada and now it is working again , this does show that it was not actually Rapid Scada that caused the problem I suppose so may have been a windows related issue as I did notice that there were Win10 updates waiting to be installed after the restart .Thank you Sir for your help

MikhailModeratorHi Rich,
If it happens again and you find a particular cause, please share info with us.

ParticipantHi , yes it did happen again even after updating to the latest version .
—I have found the problem that caused the Webstation to grind to a halt —
I had a ‘calculated real’ channel that was writing events , unfortunately the input was changing very fast , this caused the Server events .dat file to get very big , over 68Mb in a short time and then slow the whole web station down to a crawl .
Once I turned off the ‘write events’ on the channel the issue stopped .
Hope this helps , Rich

MikhailModeratorHi,
Thank you for the info. It’s really too many events. However, we will optimize accessing events in the future to let the system continue operating in such case.
