showmustgoonParticipantI’m a developer from China, and my company is planning to develop its own SCADA product based on this project. I understand that this is likely allowed under the Apache-2.0 license, but I don’t want to be someone who only takes without giving back. Due to work constraints, I might not be able to contribute code directly, and with my current skills and limited free time, it’s challenging for me to contribute to the project in other ways. Are there any other ways I can support your work, or is there a donation option available?

manjey73ParticipantYou can develop drivers, modules, plugins, and Admin extensions, both free and paid, and add them to the Scada app store. Thus, you are making a contribution to the development of the Scada system.

manjey73ParticipantThis will already be a significant contribution. Plus the purchase of existing paid functionality from the developer.

In addition to the above:
Donations are appreciated. Please text us by email to make a donation. You can also help us with translation into Chinese. There are Chinese language files in the language pack. If you find errors in those files, please send us an updated version, so we can include it in the language pack.

showmustgoonParticipantThank you all for the suggestions!
My company hired just me, a newcomer, to take on this project (based on RapidSCADA), so I’m not sure if I can manage the technical challenge. But I’ll start by giving the Chinese translation a shot and see what I can improve.August 23, 2024 at 6:05 am #15214
manjey73ParticipantThere are many newcomers here, but this does not prevent sharing :).
Write what do you want to implement, a driver, a module, a plugin? they will always help with one or the other here. One problem, many people communicate through an online translator.August 23, 2024 at 8:24 am #15215
JurasskParkParticipantOne of the problems is that people want others to do everything for them. 😀

manjey73ParticipantOne person cannot do everything at once. 🙂

What is the planned result of the work?
