    Hello,

DSE 7320 supports Modbus communication protocol, so it can be connected to Rapid SCADA.

    You should do the following:
    1. Read this article and watch this video.
    2. Create your own simple project to read data from Modbus simulator.
    3. Find the Modbus register map for DSE 7320 in the manufacturers documentation.
    4. Create your Modbus template DSE 7320 for that specifies the registers to read.

I’ve got a Modbus template for some model of DSE controller. I can share it in case you will share the final template for DSE 7320.

    Hi mickel,

Thank you for your valuable resources

If tge genset get controller support TCP / IP
Can i extract data from them? Or must use modbus port?.

Am i need external gateway or only connect Modbus port from DSE 7320 into Rapid scada software using Modbus serial converter??

    Please advice
    Best regards

    Hi,

Can i extract data from them? Or must use modbus port?.

Please read the manual. Likely, you can use Modbus TCP.

First, try to use built-in Ethernet port of the controller if it is presented. I’m not DSE guru, but talk from common point of view.
