Hello Mikhail,
I have problems with download configuration or upload i just can’t login correctly.
From file:
Error downloading configuration:
Unable to login – Invalid username or password
I am not sure which username and password procedure ask for. I want to download configuration from localhost. I did already open 10002 port i even try without firewall but that didn’t help.So first question is which username and password he want and where do i find it?
Second question is, i want to migrate scada to 5.7.0 version and if i understand correctly you need to use download and upload configuration so you save that under some project in administration tool?

August 27, 2019 at 2:45 pm #5882MikhailModeratorHi,
If this problem occurs during migration, add a user ScadaAdmin with password 12345 to the Users table of the old configuration database.
Look the error details in C:\SCADA\ScadaAgent\Log\ScadaAgent.log
This document may help.August 27, 2019 at 5:09 pm #5883MarkoParticipantI added user ScadaAdmin with password 12345 and application role. Pass that to server. I didn’t do migration yet. I wanted to download configuration from old version (5.6) and error occur with login.
Also i wonder about system instance = default. Maybe i need to change that?
I wanted to fix this before i try migration from 5.6 to 5.7. Thank you for that file about migration.ScadaAgent.log:

I added user ScadaAdmin with password 12345 and application role.
Did you pass the configuration to the server using the old Administrator?
Agent looks for the user ScadaAdmin in C:\SCADA\BaseDAT\user.datAugust 29, 2019 at 2:07 pm #5888MarkoParticipantI view user.dat and i see there ScadaAdmin with password 12345 and roleID=4, after that i check roleID settings and 4 is application role.
August 29, 2019 at 2:33 pm #5889MikhailModeratorStrange that you can’t connect.
Other way to try:
Click edit profile before reading the configuration, and change the user to ScadaWeb, also set correct password of ScadaWeb user.August 29, 2019 at 4:13 pm #5891MarkoParticipantI tried with accounts: ScadaWeb,ScadaComm,ScadaServerCtrl and ScadaAdmin and still wasn’t able to download configuration. I also watched to input appropriate password for each account.
August 30, 2019 at 6:28 am #5892MikhailModerator1. I can fix it remotely for a fee.
2. There is also another way to port the existing project to the new version.
2.1. Install Rapid SCADA 5.7.1 and make sure everything works well.
2.2. Import the configuration database tables from the old configuration. I will provide more info how to import if needed.August 30, 2019 at 8:17 am #5894MarkoParticipantI will contact my boss but i think we will be more interested into method 1.
September 23, 2019 at 8:17 am #5959MarkoParticipantHello Mikhail,

It must be a matter of my intelligence, but I can not migrate the configuration from the old to the new system. ?
The current situation:
PC with SCADA 5.6
Laptop with SCADA 5.8 (new installation, without any problems)I understood that I have to download the current configuration (PC) and to upload it at the new SCADA (Laptop). Is it correct?
Unfortunately I can not find any “idiot proved” step-by-step description. Can I access the old system directly from the new one (LAN – remote), or should I do it in two steps, PC and then laptop.
Any try to download the configuration on the PC delivers an error message:
“No listening endpoint present at http://localhost:10000/ScadaAgent/ScadaAgentSvc/”
Regards
TomMarch 18, 2020 at 3:49 pm #6626MikhailModeratorHi,
Try this document. Also check Agent log file to be sure that it’s running. If you have more questions about version upgrade, please create a new topic because this one is inappropriate.March 18, 2020 at 3:50 pm #6627MikhailModeratorAgent uses port 10002. So 10000 is not correct. Change upload profile setting to the default.
