Hi,
I am trying to connect to a webserver in a remote device using the CustomURL Widget in the Dashboard plugin. The problem is the webserver refuses the connection (in Chrome), and in Edge it gives the information that it is to do with the webserver not allowing the display to be in a frame. Edge then gives the option to open it in a new page and that works fine.
A bit of research suggests that this is related to the webserver HTTP header returning an X-Frame Option of SAMEORIGIN.
Is there anything that I can do to make this work in Dashboard, and if not what is the best way of displaying a simple link in Webstation to just open the webserver in a new browser page?
Thanks
Jamie

Hi,

Some web sites don’t allow to display them in a frame. For example, Google.
To fix it, you need administrative access the website you want to display.

Dear Mr. Mikhail,
Dashboard plugin was installing on my project. It is running well except <Widget type=”CustomUrl” url=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/xs8Tqkr-Gn4″ />. There was note on Screen “This video is unavailable”
https://imgbb.su/image/x9Nc7w
Some questions are here:
1) How to configure Widget type=”CustomUrl”? Could you show me step by step to do it?
2) Can use Widget type=”CustomUrl” to display livestreams from IP Camera? If it can how to configure it?
Thanks and best regards
Han Hoang

Hello,

The above video is not displayed because it was removed from YouTube. You should find active live channel to check.

Question about streaming video from camera is discussed here.
