    Good day,

I have recently installed Rapid SCADA, and was hoping someone could provide some assistance with the correct setup for communicating with my existing OPC server.

We are using KepserverEX, from Kepware:
    https://www.kepware.com/en-us/products/kepserverex/

Currently our plant is operated by Wonderware SCADA, but I would like to have a SCADA in all my manager’s offices as well. Wonderware is too expensive for several licenses, so Rapid SCADA sounds like the perfect product.

Hopefully someone out there has already used Rapid SCADA with kepware?

    Regards,

    Hennie Kotze

    Hello Hennie,

Currently, I have no information about using Kepware with Rapid SCADA. However it’s easy to check.
You should install Rapid SCADA or at least Communicator on the PC where OPC server exists. Then follow this video.

In case of questions, ask here. Please share your result.

    Hi tranduong257,

I did manage to get it working yes, but I don’t have that project with me at the moment, I will have to create a new one if I want to remember how I did it.

    What are you struggling with?

Hi Hennie, I’m glad you reply to me. Now i am having a trouble that when I upload configuration after I had choosed the tag from KepEX OPC and created a table view on rapid, The Screen show that “Error uploading onfiguration, there was no endpoint listening at http://localhost:10002/ScadaAgent/ScadaAgentSvc/ that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more detail”.
Could you tell me what i need to do, or do you have any document about your last project?
    Sincerely,
