Under Modbus Device templated editor, we can edit the command details. Under the command parameters below command name, data table can be selected as Holding register (4X) or Coil (0x) here. May I know what is meaning for Coil (0x) here? Can this be applied for the register address 4X or 3X? Or Coil (0x) can only be applied for 0x register address only?

It is a bit confusing here.

only for registers 0x, the register designation itself is 40001 – Holding Register and 30001 – Input Register. Look at the Modbus documentation and many questions will disappear.
