Yes. This was done to distinguish between channel formulas and general formulas.

Any particular due dates may be specified only in a contract. Working on docs for v6 will be started after porting all modules, because we need to know the features of the modules, and make their screenshots for the manuals.
Documentation for v6 will be at least as full as v5. I hope it will be more detailed.
