Version 6 issues

Hello,

I tried to install the version 6. The installation is successful.
Then I tried to test a simple project and encountered the target machine not authorized.

I found that version 6 is totatally different from V584 version. May I know if we have any documentation to support the version 6?
Any guidelines to be familiar with version 6? Or any video to support the success of using version 6? At the moment, I need to step back with version 5_8_4 first.

Hello,

That’s true, Rapid SCADA 6 is significantly different than version 5. It’s more simple and handy. Documentation will be added on https://rapidscada.net/docs/
Currently, there are instructions how to install the new version. Configuration manuals will be created after porting the existing modules, drivers and plugins.

Thanks for the reply. Please help to advise how can I solve for this error message:

Upload configuration
Test Agent connection
Error uploading configuration
No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. [:ffff:127.0.0.1]:10002

This is the first message that cannot handle without any guidance.

Now I can upload the configuration.
What I have to implement to fix the issues:-
1/Reinstall the V6 again
2/ Follow the instruction to set up IIS section

However, the new Webstation for V6 is totally different.

May I know where is the configuration and plug in the Webstation now?

Can you help to support more documentation for V6?
I have checked the existing listed documentation for V6. It is not detailed enough as done in V584 before. We expect if the team can help for the more details in the documentation and can follow the step by step as an example.

Webstation is configured using the Administrator application.

Then at the Webstation, it will be for browsing only and all the configuration and set up must be done via Administrator including the previous plug in authorization.
