MikhailModeratorInstead, the online Rapid SCADA Modbus Parser treats CRC bytes as big-endians which seam inexact.
According to the practice, the Modbus Parser calculates correctly 🙂
If you find a difference in CRC comparing to the real Modbus device, let us know.
MikhailModeratorHi,
Please provide additional information:
1. Screenshot of the mimic in the frame.
2. Screenshot of possible errors in the browser console (by F12).

MikhailModeratorHi,
The easiest way is using Extra Scheme Components Plugin as written above.
It is possible to create your own faceplate based on SVG and rotate an arrow inside it. However, it would require more efforts.

MikhailModeratorHello,
Thank you for the update.May 18, 2026 at 5:22 pm in reply to: Operator Role Cannot Send Commands Despite Control Permissions in Rapid SCADA #17951
MikhailModeratorHi,
Please provide screenshots of the settings, right matrix and the results. A topic about roles is not so easy.
MikhailModeratorHi,
I suppose, you should specify IP or DNS name.
Note that a web page view can switch from localhost to IP automatically, but a frame on a mimic does not.May 12, 2026 at 9:02 am in reply to: Modbus Relay Optimization: Using Poll on Command, Device Duplication, and Event- #17944
MikhailModeratorHistorical data is bound to channel numbers. If channel numbers are unchanged, it’s OK.

MikhailModeratorYou can edit the project as you described. Make a backup before.
The Communicator configuration file ScadaCommConfig.xml should be edited manually (in Notepad++) to move devices to other communication lines. Reopen a project after manual editing.-

MikhailModeratorHello,
For testing, you could set the format to an empty value. After you make it works, change the format to Off-On.

MikhailModeratorHi,
* Is it possible to duplicate the device within the system to separate polling tasks?
For example, one device for continuous reading of essential variables and another only for alert or detailed diagnostic variables.Yes, this is a good practice.
* I am also considering a logic where, for example, if I receive a critical flag (such as breaker opened), this event could trigger a Poll on Command to request more detailed readings only at that moment. Is this a viable approach?
It is possible to send a polling command with Auto Control Module.
* Is this strategy generally recommended, or could it create communication conflicts, request collisions, or overload the relay?
It looks OK.
* I have never used Poll on Command before. Could someone explain, in general terms, how it works in practice?
Using the Administrator app, try sending a command with the
App.Comm.PollDevicecode to the selected device.* After loading the device and creating the channels, how is the Poll on Command actually triggered?
Does it require manual activation, scripting, event logic, external commands, or is there native automation for this? This checkbox means that an explicit command required to poll a device.
MikhailModeratorHi,
If the existing network adapter remains installed, the registration keys should work.
