Please help to clarify the item related to version 6.0.0.0 here:-

Tag number
Tag code

Need more clarification on this point.
I found that both tag number and tag code must be filled, otherwise I identified that the channel number eg 101 and 102 cannot be matched with my register eg 40001 and 40002.

For Data type entry, there are four options:-
ASCII string
Double
Integer
Uncode string
Or blank (no contents)

May I know the major difference? If this data type entry left blank, what will be the data type entry? Sometimes, I found the register value will be displayed as 10.000.

Hello,
Tag number is the synonym of the Signal field in the 5th version.
Tag code is similar to tag number, but it can contain any string.

Data type of the channel determines how channel data are stored. The empty cell means Double.
