Update from 5.8.3 to V6

I have just installed the new v6 version and would like to know if its possible to bring my project over to v6 aswell I tried opening my project but it wasnt working and didnt appear after opening v6 for the first time.

I downloaded the converter but the read me is a bit unclear it say I must type in the command but it keeps coming up as a non recognised command

Hi, the convert V5 to V6 worked with some issues, one that i am having problem is that the unit of the converted v6 has changed:

V5= <UnitID>67</UnitID>
V6= <UnitID>1</UnitID>

Any hint to fix it or to scan manually each variable?

by any chance is it possible to use a V5 SCADA with Rapid Gate to connect to a V6 ?

if I upgrade from V5 (delete all) and install new V6 (latest, windows), the computer code and the license remains the same?

on V6 is it possible to change the layout of the landing page (main page) as it was on V5?

Hello,
When converting a project from v5 to v6 units are compared by their codes. So UnitID may change.

No, because the application communication protocol and the configuration database significantly changed.

The code will change. If you buy licenses before, we upgrade keys for free on the same computer.
