    Good day!

We are making our own in-house SCADA system for our Electric Cooperative in the Philippines. Our SCADA model has Substation Meters in remote areas with stand-alone RAPID SCADA servers, schemes and databases that are connected to our local network. We are also PLANNING to have a Central Server which gathers all the data from other servers and stores them as backup, the central server also has Rapid SCADA that has Scheme for overall monitoring of the system.

My question is does Rapid SCADA has a system for synchronizing the input channels of remote servers to a central server and storing them for backup?

    Hello,
Thank you for the clear description of the system.
Yes, Rapid SCADA is designed to support such architecture.
I suggest to configure remote and central Rapid SCADA instances within the same project. Then use Rapid Gate module to sync them.
Choose Rapid SCADA 6 version, because Rapid Gate was significantly improved for v6.

Extended support service can be useful for the complex system.

Thank you for the response Mikhail!… do I need to purchase a separate RapidGate module for every remote server?

Yes, you need Rapid Gate for each remote server. The module price is reasonable and competitive. Before paying, get the trial keys for testing.
