ParticipantHello, I have been getting started with Rapid Scada and doing everything strictly according to the video: https://youtu.be/md4ETe9g2y0?list=PLeyJvzEKXs5D6zYUfeV52KXy479tg0w9U&t=215 (Timecode-bound). When it came to the configuration uploading I instead got this kind of log:
Compress configuration of the Communicator application
Compress configuration of the Webstation application
Add project information
Add transfer optionsTransfer configuration
Archive size: 20,304 bytesStop the Communicator service
Service control command completed successfully
Stop the Webstation service
Service control command failed
Restart the Server service
Service control command completed successfully
Start the Communicator service
Service control command completed successfully
Start the Webstation service
Service control command failedConfiguration uploaded successfully
And therefore I cannot proceed further. I double-checked all the previous instructions in videos 1 and 2 and wasn`t able to resolve my problem. My OS is Windows 10 pro and I was using a MODRSsim for getting started

ModeratorHello,
It sometimes happens. Use IIS management console to restart the web application if it cannot be restarted programmatically.July 21, 2024 at 7:50 pm #14995ppki_
ParticipantCan you please provide more information on how to do this exactly?

2. Select the Scada website.

ParticipantThanks, it did help. However, now my device is still not working:
[1] modbus device ----------------- Driver : DrvModbus 6.0.0.3 Status : Error Session time : Undefined Command time : Undefined Sessions (total / errors) : 0 / 0 Commands (total / errors) : 0 / 0 Requests (total / errors) : 0 / 0 Current Data +---+-------+-------+-------+---------+ | # | Code | Name | Value | Channel | +---+-------+-------+-------+---------+ | ************* Group 1 ************* | +---+-------+-------+-------+---------+ | 1 | Elem1 | Elem1 | --- | | +---+-------+-------+-------+---------+
There were no error messages elsewhere, and now I am more confused. Tried restarting the PC and all the related software

ModeratorThe above post is not related to the topic. Please search for existing topics about Modbus. Probably, it’s already solved.
