Hello,
I am wondering what can be shaved from the OS work load (and the SCADA installation) if all I need is the ScadaComm & ScadaServer, with no need for ScadaWeb / Interface / ScadaTable etc. But will add Agent, AutoControl and RapidGate modules to create a pure data acquisition and processing logic Linux box.
I believe this architecture is different from the ‘Large System’ SCADA architecture described in the Documentation.
Of course I will still have a main SCADA system set up for user view, and which will also gather data from the sub-system Scada.
So, on Linux if I do not need the web server, which steps can I safely skip during the installation process?
Thanks.

In case of Windows installation, tick Server and Communicator checkboxes.
Interface folder is required by SCADA-Server, because it provides views to the web app.
