    Dear colleagues,
could you tell me how can I regulate the polling cycle time for my variables?
Now in my Rapid SCADA application were created 18 variables. Its are displayed properly (but sometime its are Undefined), but the changing the variables is very slow. The time between locally displayed value and the value on SCADA screen is about 30-40 seconds.
In other side, I have to balance the speed because my GSM channel.

    Hello,
First of all, you need to find out the bottle neck step by step. Please provide more details what are “locally displayed value” and “value on SCADA screen”? Screenshots will help.

There is a local panel with the value indication. I able to change income parameter (temperature) and watch the value on display (“hardware”) and on the SCADA. Time between changing the values is about 30-40 sec.
But it is question not about faster the system. The question is about how can I adjust the pulling time: for temperature it could be bigger than for pressure.

It are connected to Owen’s TRM 136 module. The module connects to a web communication module via RS486 interface. The connection goes through a TCP server and reaches my workstation. Of case, I understand that there could be timeouts in the TCP server.
But, how can I adjust the pulling cycle IN RAPID SCADA SOFTWARE: in the Rapid Communicator or Rapid Server or Rapid WEB interface?

Read this section. Pay attention to Timeout and Delay parameters of communication.
