    Hello,

I have tried to install a plugin on my linux server (extra mimic components) and cannot see the extra components in the mimic editor.

In the linux server for the ScadaWeb files, I tried these methods:

    cp -rn /source /dest/
    cp -ru /source /dest/
    rsync -av –update /source /dest/

In the windows machine hosting the Administrator application, I copied the ScadaAdmin folder from the plugin download to the program files.

Previously I have installed a file with the version 6.0.2.0 and can see that in the list of plugins in Administrator, but since copying the new files for 6.0.2.1 the plugin description did not change and I do not see the added components.

This was all for the trials, I have since purchased a key. This is what started this process of “updating”. The purchased key did not open the components in the mimic editor, there were not shown before or after the key entry.

I have tried multiple configuration uploads.

    Thank you for the help!

The Mimic plugin must be fully installed on a PC with an Administrator. Since the Editor runs the WEB for editing, it should be on your PC as well.

    Hello,

Make sure that a plugin is copied in the valid location. For example,
    C:\Program Files\SCADA\ScadaAdmin\Lib\PlgMimExtraComp.View.dll
The Administrator application looks for DLLs in that location.

On Linux, the web app tries to load a plugin after you activate it in the Administrator app and upload the project for execution. Check ScadaWeb.log for details.

What is the best way to return the entire scada application to the default and start the plugin installation over again?

This is the point I am at, the ScadaWeg.log shows that the plugins are found and registered. All of the files are in the appropriate locations. I have lost the extra shapes that previously work, the extra mimic components never worked.

To reset all apps to the default, uninstall and install them again.
To fix plugins, it’s needed to find error details. They can be in log files and the browser console.
