Hello,
First the version. I am working with RS 6…(the latest one)
I would like to install chart pro. I have downloaded the plugin and copied the files into the appropriate folders (as specified in the package). There is a dll that is not blocked, I have checked that.
Now it should be possible to activate the plugin in the Administrator – Server – Module. It does not appear in the list of currently inactive modules.
I have my ‘own’ project, so not hello world from the installation process. Does this mean that the files have to be copied to a different location?
I deliberately did not change the ports during the installation, so I call Rapid Scada .it x.x.x.x.x:10008, for which it was necessary to release port 10008 in the firewall. Does this have any influence on the installation of the plugin?
Many thanks for any tips.- This topic was modified 2 weeks, 1 day ago by Mikhail.

Then you add a plugin, and passes the configuration to the server. After that, you will have the opportunity to register – information about the PC key when the plugin starts on the server.November 17, 2024 at 7:01 am #15621manjey73ParticipantThis is true for all plugins. In order for them to run, they must be copied to the runtime server and to the development server, as well as the runtime server configuration downloaded to the project.
November 18, 2024 at 9:39 am #15622fischerpParticipantNow I am a bit confused.
I have a Windows PC on which I have installed Rapid-Scada. This means that both the administration program (Administrator.exe) and Scada (all databases, Webvisu, server…) are on the same computer.
Here I have copied the files contained in the plugin into the respective folders of the same name. As recommended in the instructions, I have checked that all dlls are not not locked. In this case, this is only the PlgChartPro.View.dll in the folder Scada-ScadaAdmin_Lib.
In this context, I don’t understand the difference between the runtime server and the “PC on which I am currently developing”. From my point of view, this is just one device.
What do I understand wrong?November 18, 2024 at 12:10 pm #15625fischerpParticipantAfter I understood what the above meant, I got the plugin to work. However, there is still a small problem. The charts are black and white and I get the following error:
Error loading configuration: Could not find file
C:\Program Files\SCADA\ScadaWeb\config\PlgChartPro.xmlThe XML file should be generated automatically according to the instructions. What could have gone wrong? Or how can I fix it?
November 18, 2024 at 12:47 pm #15626manjey73ParticipantProbably this file is not in the project – the Project folder for example HelloWord
November 18, 2024 at 12:49 pm #15627manjey73ParticipantI’m telling you. You have copied all the plugin files according to the folders.
Then open your project and Download the Configuration.
The necessary settings files will be uploaded to the project. If you try to transfer the server Configuration, since you do not have the settings files yet, they will be deleted on the production server, regardless of whether you are working with the project on the same PC or on a remote one.

ChartPro*.xml files should be copied in your project folder (where you saved it) as shown in the above post.
