Initial setup issues

Hi, I am a brand new user to Rapid SCADA, but not new to scada or modbus and the like. I am following a tutorial at http://rapidscada.net/doc/content/latest/en/use-cases/modbus-protocol.html but have very little luck in getting RS to pull data from my modbus device.

I am hitting a wall; in the communication line I have created, the Line Log states:

2021-02-21 14:51:45 Initialize communication line 4 “Email”
2021-02-21 14:51:45 Start communication line 4 “Email”
Loading address book
2021-02-21 14:51:45 Error executing actions of Device 41 “Email sender” on communication line start: Error loading device settings:
Length of the data to decrypt is invalid.

This seems peculiar to me since I have nothing configured for email in any way.

And going to the device, it says “File not found.”

This issue is not related to Modbus, but to the email sending driver.

To fix:
1. Download the driver update
2. Configure email sending.

Dear Mr.Mikail,
The email driver was testing. It is running in my project. I configured the email device that can send an email only to single contract. That’s mean i can not configure the device that can send email to group_name. I think there is a problem in creating group_name in the command text. Could you let me know How to create a group_name?
