excel export question

    i have a question why i export excel files and the files are always *.xml not *.xls?
    i can open it with office excel. but it is not conveniet.

    It’s a special format supported by Excel and Libre Office (XML Table 2003, Spreadsheet ML). It’s not XLS nor XLSX.
