If channel configuration changes, it requires compiling scripts, initializing of archives and modules.
I agree that it would be good, but I don’t see easy way to implement it and make reliable.

In v6 it’s possible to restart communication lines if Communicator configuration changes.

We plan to develop a module that allows to change the following configuration in runtime without restarting:
1. Users
2. Channel limits

Hi,
In v6 channel limits can be bound to other channels, so they can be changed by an operator.

User editing in runtime has not been implemented yet. Still in plan. The most similar option is using Active Directory to manage users. The is a module to auth user by Active Directory.
