    SCADA version 5.8.4

The server has 2 LAN ports, subnet of lan port 1 is 192.168.1.0/24, while subnet of lan port 2 is 192.168.2.0/24.

the communication lines of devices of lan port 1 subnet work fine.

but communication lines of devices of lan port 2 subnet didn’t work. the log only shows repeated information as below, looks like connection timeout.

    2024-03-12 17:53:34 Establish a Tcp connection with 192.168.2.3:502
    2024-03-12 17:53:35 Disconnect from 192.168.2.3
    2024-03-12 17:53:38 stablish a Tcp connection with 192.168.2.3:502
    2024-03-12 17:53:39 Disconnect from 192.168.2.3
    2024-03-12 17:53:42 Establish a Tcp connection with 192.168.2.3:502
    2024-03-12 17:53:43 Disconnect from 192.168.2.3

when I use other tools to test, connection with devices of both subnet worked fine.

It’s weird. Connection is OK. Looks like no device on the line.
Could you check the request sequence? Screenshots can be useful.

If you think that the issue depends on the subnet, try other IPs for testing.

Thanks Mikhail, problem solved. After restarting the server, it works fine. SCADA works fine with multiple LAN card and subnet.

I was not able to restart the server since it was in production environment. I restarted it today, and everything works fine.

Looks like the server somehow not registered the new network setting by only restarting the networkmanager, must restart the server.
