Currently when click on a channel on table view, the chart will appear in a new tab.
It will be very useful if it can be displayed on the same tab, similar to the Main Menu – Reports / About Page, keeping the Menu panel while hiding the event panel.
In many cases, we want to run the Web GUI in Full Screen on workstation or even in KOISK mode on HMI, this can regulate the operator’s operation within the SCADA system Web GUI only, while not touching any setting of the workstation or HMI.
Opening a new tab make switching back to the home page quite inconvenient. Currently I disable the chart plugin to avoid this.
I think, if chart is open in the same page, it should be open as a popup. What do you think about chart popup?
Currently, Chart Pro supports chart views. It means that you can add a row into the views table, and open a particular chart inside common UI.
If chart is open in a new tab in full screen mode, the Close button appears.
Popup with close button is a good idea. It makes going back to the previous view even easier.
One concern is the resolution of screen can be very different, from 720p to 4K, 4:3 and 16:9, ,can the pop up size be adaptive by the browser size?
We use bootstrap for displaying popups. That popups have adaptive width. We should experiment with height.
