ParticipantIn my table view I am able to see all the current and hourly values for my channels, but when I click any channel to view the chart, it is just blank. The chart opens in a new tab, but there is no line or any points shown.
Am I missing some additional setting?
As a side note: The “event window” buttons are also showing alternate text instead of displaying as proper buttons.

ModeratorHello,
What language is set in the Administrator app – Tools – Language?
Try generating an Excel report for channel 4101 to check channel data.April 18, 2023 at 12:32 pm #12464TroyV23
ParticipantThe language is set to English (UK).
The report generates, and I can see data in there… although excel doesn’t open the file.April 19, 2023 at 9:58 am #12468Mikhail
ModeratorI would recommend to upgrade Rapid SCADA to the latest version. Missing phrases are a sign of a problem with the installation.

Open Excel first, then open the file from Excel.

ParticipantI downloaded Version 6.1.1 and performed update, but there was no change in the text buttons. I am running Windows Server 2016, is that an issue?
I did not have this problem in RapidScada 5.8.X though, so I’m wondering if my OS version or IIS version is too old for new rapidscada versions. If so Can the remote webstation run a different v5.8.X while my server and communicator on a different machine run v6.1.1 ?

ModeratorWindows Server 2016 is OK.
Please check Webstation log file for errors.
Webstation 5.x is not compatible with Server 6.x and vice versa.April 21, 2023 at 4:35 am #12479grhsc
ParticipantI have a similar experience, I’m not sure it will apply to you, just for reference.
You may have modified the xml file of the system or applied a special tags name, you may have added a special character @,&If you can take a full screenshot (whole screen) maybe I can confirm this

ModeratorIf language file cannot be loaded, the error should be written in the log file.

ParticipantI made a mistake, my server is actually running Windows 2012 R2 Server. Is this an issue? Is there a way around it without upgrading the OS ?

ModeratorAccording to System Requirements Windows Server 2016 is a minimum.
You could try to install Rapid SCADA 6 on Windows 10/11 for testing.May 5, 2023 at 12:17 pm #12533grhsc
ParticipantOf course, just avoid using ” * & @ “in (custom modified) xml files
