This is a special question. Let’s say I can’t use ScadaAdmin, or I don’t want to restart too many services, it might cause data outage.

If I update an existing sch files (they is already defined in the view table),Can I update sch by copying the sch file to a designated folder on the server, and by restarting some services? (hoping to minimize the operation)

I know this operation may not be standard, but would still like an answer.
    thank you

Yes, you can update *.sch files in the destination location. To take them in use and clear cache, you need to restart the web application. You can do that using the Administrator app.
Also you can upload only views using the Administrator app.

    – Yes, I just want to update an existing sch, not create a new one, so this method is good enough for me.

    It has 4 related services,
    ScadaComm6, ScadaAgent6. ScadaServer6 and w3svc

I hope to minimize the operation. I tested it under win. I only need to restart w3svc.
But under linx, there seems to be no such service. Which service should I restart to get new ones on the web (minimized operation)

Could you help me again when you are free?
