Having now migrated the previous Rapid SCADA installation to a VMWare instance, I have a couple of issues.

I copied the entire existing directory structure from the Windows 10 environment on the very same machine to the new VM Windows 10 directory structure and then “uploaded” it using the “Administrator” application.

When I run “Communicator” from the new VM’s “Administrator” application it shows all of my Modbus channels (via TCP/IP) reporting successfully.

However, when I go to the VM’s IP address of the VM using the default port of 10008, I get an error saying the “The application is not ready. Try again later.”

But if I enter the user: admin and associated password, the Webstation screen shows correctly.

Yet when the default web page is displayed, I now get “The requested view is not specified” error.

The original Rapid SCADA installation had personal licenses installed for both the “Chart Pro” and “Dashboard” modules.

Is this the reason for my data graph/view/dashboard errors?

    Thank you my friend.

    Duplicated here

To discuss “The requested view is not specified”, an issue description should contain:
    – only appropriate question
    – corresponding screenshots and log files.
