ParticipantOkay, Please message me on skype if you will be available. I’ll keep an eye on my skype account and if you give me the okay, I’ll download the auto control module closer to 3pm. Thanks.

ParticipantGreat! I’ll buy the “Automatic Control Module” today if I have time. Will you be available tomorrow around 3pm EST to help me install/test the new module via remote session?
Thanks again for all of your help.

Participant“In this case it is possible to send a command to request required subdevice.”
Would I be able to have the “command to request” function triggered by an output signal from my PLC?
To give you a full understanding of what I’m trying to do, see below:
I have machines that do 3-12 parts/cycles per minute. The cycle rate changes from job to job so I need to pull certain data points at the end of each part/cylce to be able to attach that info to that part/cycle. I guess I need SCADA to monitor a discrete coil and when it comes on, pull a block data and log it as part1.

ParticipantI’d like to go with option 2 but in the meantime, please see below.
I got the channel to dispay in the communicator but I’m still seeing a value of 0.
The register on my PLC that I’m trying to pull is 46002R and is a REAL value but I don’t know where to tell the software that 46002 is the register I want to pull.
Looking at my admin input channels, I’m not understanding what “Number” is and what “Signal” is… please explain.
Thanks,
Marty
