Regarding Code of Channels

Hi, Mikhal,

What is the use of the Code col. in Channel table. It doesn’t seem to have been used anywhere. Is there any constraint for it ? Does it require values to be unique, though currently it seems that there is no rules imposed on it.

I am storing values in this col, just want to make sure it’ll not cause issue in future versions.

If I’m not mistaken, by specifying Code, you can send commands by Code and not by channel number.

Hi,
The Code column is used for integration with other systems. You can enter any text into it.
The Tag Code column is important for Communicator.
