    Hello, I hope you can support me.

    I have LACROIX SOFREL telemetry equipment, which can be integrated with different SCADAs via SOFREL’s OPCServer. I am trying to read 2 pieces of information from an RTU.

    I don’t know if this way of reading information is generic, but when I integrate SOFREL systems with SCADAs from another manufacturer. In the device configuration, where I indicate the source of the information I want to read at the end of the path, I add the variable number in parentheses. For example:

    http://file:///C:/Users/Alejandro%20Rangel/Documents/Personal/NOM/Elementos%20APK/Captura.MHT Device 1 Configuration.

    Can you tell me how I can do this process, since the route that Rapid Scada takes me is as follows (next image), and thus I obtain all the information from the RTU and Rapid Scada does not allow me to process it.

    src=”http://file:///C:/Users/Alejandro%20Rangel/Documents/Personal/NOM/Elementos%20APK/Lista%20de%20informaciones.MHT” alt=”Current device tags” />

    I also have doubts about the ability of Rapid SCADA to communicate by standard DNP3 or IEC-60870-5/-104 with RTUs

    If the required value is array, you should set an array length.
    Channel names entered in the configuration database have no effect how Communicator reads data from the OPC server.

    Does the OPC manufacturer support OPC UA standard? OPC DA is outdated.

    I also have doubts about the ability of Rapid SCADA to communicate by standard DNP3 or IEC-60870-5/-104 with RTUs

    You need a 3rd party OPC server to use the mentioned protocols.

    Hello Mikhail.

    Our OPC provider, they have a solution for OPC UA. I have tried to integrate it but it generates an error in the certificates.

    At this point how could we move forward, I am available to do the tests you indicate.
