    Hi,

I am new to SCADA systems and tried to install rapidscada on a Windows 7. The installer ends up with 2 errors for installing the services. Do you have any idea?

After restart, two SCADA services are appeared in the Services which are started with no problem. But, SCADA-Web does not work. The login page is loaded, but I can’t login , with error message “Unable to login, the server is unavailable”.

Every comment or help is welcome.

    Dear Akbarm,
Please post the following additional information about the issue:
    1. What were the errors occured during installation?
    2. What is the state of SCADA-Server when it runs? The state is written in C:\SCADA\ScadaServer\Log\ScadaServerSvc.txt

This issue often appears if some other application uses TCP port 10000. For example, torrents client. In this case, close that application and restart SCADA-Server service.

    I have the same problem.

The output in the ScadaServerSvc is:

2015-03-21 12:36:04 <I5-4570><SYSTEM><ERR> The configuration database in DAT format directory does not exist.
The interface directory does not exist.
The archive in DAT format directory does not exist.
The archive copy in DAT format directory does not exist.
2015-03-21 12:36:04 <I5-4570><SYSTEM><ERR> Normal program execution is impossible.

    Thanks in advance.

Please check that the directories specified in SCADA-Server
    and shown here are exist.
Did you install Rapid SCADA in C:\SCADA directory?

Yes, the directories in server configuration weren’t properly configured.
    Thanks
