Hi Mikhail,
i need different reports based on hours, shift (working) hours, daily, weekly, monthly… and any kind of time period.
Is “Elastic Report” able to define the report time period, i.e. for an 8-hours shift period?
regards

The ElasticReportExample uses hourly data from 12pm, not sure how to extend that into one or multiple shifts. Also the use of formula in Excel format does not show how to reference values from related channels at the same timeslot.
Thanks.
June 24, 2018 at 2:04 pm #3900MikhailModeratorCould you provide an example of a required report?
June 24, 2018 at 2:11 pm #3902jacklondonParticipantHi Mikhail, for example:
One needs to report different energy consumptions for every shift between 00:00-08:00, 08:00-16:00 and 16:00-24:00, additionally hourly, daily, weekly, monthly…
How to achieve that?

June 25, 2018 at 4:31 pm #3908MikhailModeratorCurrently, possible values of the detailing parameter: Hour, Day, Month, BeginEnd.
It means that you can get consumption between every hour, every day, every month or between the beginning and the end of the selected period. To support custom time period and weekly period, the Elastic Report plugin should be updated.
Would like to be able to draw data from minutes
Elastic Report uses hourly data. If you need minute data, please provide examples.

… or between the beginning and the end of the selected period.
Could be an alternative solution, if we could enter not only the date, but also concrete beginning and ending time (hours) when we let create the report at the elastic report page… For example: Same day, but only the beginning and ending times differ!?

June 26, 2018 at 2:14 pm #3931MikhailModeratorHi,
It requires an update of the plugin. We can discuss such development.
The solution that can be implemented using the current plugin version: use Excel formulas to calculate consumption for needed ranges of time. I mean you get a report with hour detailing and Excel refers to the specified cells and calculates required values.

i think it would be enough for the beginning, to have also a range definition for hours (begin and end) additionally to date range at the page where we call an elasticreport, if possible!?
That way we could give the same date as begin/end and then define the hour range for example for shift begin and end.

February 6, 2019 at 1:07 pm #4973MikhailModeratorYou need an input channel that stores max. value of each day. Than use this channel in your report configuration file.
November 13, 2020 at 1:02 pm #7533dinopParticipantHello,
I am new with Rapid scada and scada in common.
I am trying to figure out how does an Elastic report work.
Inside the program I opened a new Interface with .xml
Can someone give me an example of how to make a report for a daily/ shift consumption of energy for example. What to write inside the interface I opened, it begins with
<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″ ?>. #
What should I declare as input? Please some help with a pdf or some document that will make me understand how this works.
Thanks.November 13, 2020 at 2:18 pm #7539MikhailModeratorDecember 7, 2020 at 9:35 am #7676dinopParticipantHello,
