    Dear all,
I want to install Rapid Scada on a PC running Windows XP. I have two questions on this topic:

    1) Does the previous versions of Rapid Scada support the current dashboard and chart-pro plugins?

    2) Let´s suppose I have two PC’s now. One running Windows XP (“A”), and another one running Windows 7 (“B”).
Let´s assume also they’re on the same network.
If I install the software on the PC “B” (acting as Server), can I use the PC “A” as a Client?

What I mean is, if PC “A” doesn’t have ANY installed Rapid Scada software, is it enough with just opening a web-browser on PC “A”, and entering “https:’IP Number of PC B‘/Scada” ?
Is it possible to view all the screens (dashboard, chart-pro) and interact with the Scada in the same way I could do in the PC “B” (with all the software installed)?

I don’t know If I’ve been clear with my question.
Thanks a lot in advance for taking the time to read this.
    Kind regards,

    Martin

    Hi,

    1. No. Don’t use the previous versions of Rapid SCADA. Install the actual.

    2. Yes, you can.

Note: Rapid SCADA doesn’t officially support Windows XP and it is not tested on XP, but it should work most likely. The web app have to be installed manually.

    Dear Mikhail,
    Thanks for your response.

I´ve tried accessing “https://192.168.X.X(my IP number)/Scada” from 3 different PCs.

I’ve deactivated Windows Firewall, and also propietary-antivirus-software firewalls.
I’ve disabled anti-pop up extensions on every browser.
I’ve tried making a ping to all PC’s, they all see each other correctly.
I’ve set all the Network connections as Private.

I keep getting the error message “(Web browser) can´t establish a connection with the server at 192.168.X.X”

    What else could be missing?

Note: NONE of the 3 PC’s has any SCADA software installed (neither web-browser, nor any other of the modules). Two of them are running Windows 8, and the other one Windows 10.

    Thanks again for the support.
    Regards,
    Martín

Do you mean that you can open the web application locally, but can’t access remotely?
HTTPS may require additional setup. Does HTTP work?
