Operator Role Cannot Send Commands Despite Control Permissions in Rapid SCADA

Hello,

I was trying to create new users with different permissions for each one. I have created three roles: Supervisor, Operator, and User (without assigning any specific code to them), and I also created four different objects for the different screens.

The problem is with the object called “Manual”. In theory, both the Supervisor and Operator roles have the “View” and “Control” permissions enabled.

With the Supervisor role, the control works correctly (it sends commands properly depending on where I click on the screen). However, with the Operator role, which should behave the same way, the user can see the screen, and when pressing a button it looks like the command is being processed, but it never shows that the command was actually sent.

Additionally, in the browser console, the following errors appear when using the Operator role, while with the Supervisor role no errors appears:

Is there any solution for this, or does anyone know why this is happening?

I have already solved the problem.

The issue was not related to the objects assigned to the views, those were configured correctly. The real problem was with the object assigned to the channels.

For example, I have Variable1 assigned to the object called “Mode”, and for this object the Operator role only had permission to view, not to control. However, when I changed Variable1 to use the “Manual” object, where both Operator and Supervisor have permission to send commands, everything started working correctly.
