Those channels are NOT created.
Could it be because joining device and channel name is >50 characters ?
– Would be useful to create them any way
– Better error description: “Channel name was truncated. Exceeds 50 chars!”
– Why 50 chars ? (I mean, knowing it it’s ok but… why not 100?)May 16, 2016 at 3:39 pm #1185MikhailModeratorI will check.
Is there any additional info in C:\SCADA\ScadaAdmin\ScadaAdmin.err ?May 16, 2016 at 3:59 pm #1186inpelsaParticipant2016-04-28 18:17:56 <SRVSCADA><Administrador><EXC> Error saving the table changes to the database: The column "Channel type" cannot contain null values. 2016-04-28 19:34:27 <SRVSCADA><Administrador><EXC> Error saving the table changes to the database: The column "Channel type" cannot contain null values. 2016-05-16 13:10:40 <SRVSCADA><Administrador><EXC> Channels have been created with errors. No more details.
I had that same error 2 times, same amount I used the same device template.
I shortened device field names and got no errors, it should be that.
