Error message “The requested view does not exist or you have insufficient rights to access it.”
I saw your video showing putting in the Folder and File names in the Interface node. I did that, saved it and uploaded it to no avail.

What am I doing wrong?
I want to see the log of the readings taken every hour.- This topic was modified 4 years, 1 month ago by Mikhail.
February 1, 2020 at 6:20 am #6464manjey73ParticipantYou also need to allow viewing and managing in the Rule tab
February 1, 2020 at 4:13 pm #6466joeh6966ParticipantI can’t find any “Rule” tab.
February 2, 2020 at 6:54 am #6467manjey73ParticipantRights, access Rules, Access, I don’t know how to call it correctly in the English version.
I use an online translator

February 2, 2020 at 4:40 pm #6469joeh6966ParticipantSo many problems.
I found Roles, Users and Rights. I don’t understand Roles or Rights, but I edited the Users to Administrator in 2 cases.

I get a different error message, Server is unavailable, instead of I don’t have permission.February 2, 2020 at 8:35 pm #6471manjey73ParticipantThis is a different table . There are not so many tables in the project that you can’t see the assignment of Rights
February 2, 2020 at 8:51 pm #6472joeh6966ParticipantI already wrote that I don’t understand the Rights tab.
I just tried to open SCADA administrator to take a snip of the window for Rights, and SCADA will not even open now.
I will have to uninstall and reinstall.
I wrote today about four errors I found in https://forum.rapidscada.org/?topic=connecting-devices-using-modbus-protocol
This program became unusable.February 3, 2020 at 6:24 am #6475manjey73ParticipantYou just don’t know how to cook it 🙂

February 3, 2020 at 6:32 am #6477February 3, 2020 at 3:33 pm #6484MikhailModeratorThe default user Admin has full rights despite you fill the Rights table. Make sure that the view is opened if Admin is logged on.
February 3, 2020 at 8:44 pm #6486joeh6966ParticipantView is opened but there is nothing to see.
I checked the Rights table, and the drop down menu has nothing to click on for Interface Object.

https://ibb.co/zGzVQKSFebruary 3, 2020 at 9:25 pm #6488joeh6966ParticipantI think that the requested view doesn’t exist, but I think that I selected the correct folder and file in the interface table. So, what next?
https://ibb.co/Z1hqYqQFebruary 4, 2020 at 4:15 am #6489manjey73ParticipantIt is strange that you have selected a project in the Interface and not interface files.
The Interface object must be created either in tabular form or in graphical form
Interface-Create a Table file (or Scheme)
Add the necessary input channels in a table view
February 4, 2020 at 2:53 pm #6496MikhailModeratorjoeh6966, you should define the views exactly as it’s shown in the videos. No *.rsproj files there.
February 6, 2020 at 7:51 pm #6501joeh6966ParticipantTo Manjay73;
I click on Interface and nothing happens except the + sign disappears. There is no right-click menu either that lists “Interface-Create a Table file (or Scheme)”.
I’ll try to view the videos again to see how to do this.
Already it is good enough even if I do nothing more, because I can stop monitoring the meter as SCADA records the readings in Archives. -
