Map Plugin question

StatusCnlNum

StatusCnlNum –
number of an input channel which means the status of this location;
0 – channel not specified;
positive channel value means the location is normal, otherwise the location needs attention.

I tested 3 values when Channel Num is set. the Color of location pin/tag is listed below, and they seems different from the document.
0: Green (Normal?)
1: Red (Alarm / needs attention?)
-1: Grey (Offline / Invalid / Undefined?)

Color
Is there other color of the location pin/tag?

It would be nice if a location pin/tag can follow the status color of a chennel, like other components.

Others
When click on empty location, it shows Geo Latitude and longitude. is it possible not to show it?

If status channel is specified, there 3 colors as you described: gray, red and green.
It’s limited because a marker is a static image loaded from file.

Currently, it’s possible to disable popups manually by editing map.js file.

I would like to run a map plugin on an offline network. I understand that I need to build my own tile server to make the map work. My question is: is there a way to connect to my own offline map server?

Yes. In that case you need to deploy your tile server. Then specify its address in the plugin configuration file, PlgMap.xml

I have installed the map plugin and followed the instructions outlined here:

However, the map isn’t working as expected. I am unable to select MapExample. When I move the cursor over the MapExample icon, the cursor changes to a prohibited sign.
Could you please help me resolve this issue?

Hi,
Check ScadaWeb.log. Make sure that PlgMap is loaded without errors when the web application starts.

I got temporary license yesterday but it didn’t work either with temporary license.
It seems webstation doesn’t recognize map file.

You could try setting the view type explicitly in the Views table. Weird.

The only issue I can see is that the registration key for PlgMap is not correct.
If you get new temporary key, apply it, and upload the project, does the new key work?

Please check that the PlgMap.xml file is in Instances – Default – Webstation – Configuration files. Not in views.
