    Hi

I am new hear and would appreciate some guidance. I am knew to BacNET and have some questions about a project.

We manafacture an IP intercom and have been asked to provide a solution where by our monitor will also be able to control a BMS system via BacNET.

Our monitor runs android and the intention is to use an app for visualization, the scope calls for the monitor to be able to:

    – view energy consumption data from the bms and display graphically.
    – control the lighting of the apartment
    – control the air con of the apartment

The building will have a fully integrated BMS which will be managing all of the above within each apartment centrally so the controls would need to be for the local area/ unit each monitor is in only.

Our monitor is IP running Kitkat Android.

I hope the above is something you can assist with in terms of hardware and if you can assist with the app etc Im happy to discuss this also.

We are based in Australia and my email is —

    Hi,

BACnet becomes more and more popular. For the time, you should use 3rd party software or hardware gate to connect BACnet devices to Rapid SCADA. The discussions about BACnet support are here and here.

It is possible to develop a native driver that allows to connect BACnet devices to Rapid SCADA directly. We can discuss the development.

We are planning to release the new modern Rapid SCADA web app provides web UI which works well on different types of clients including Android and iOS. It will be released within a few months.

If you have got a schema of your system, please post it here or send by email. I need deep understanding the communications between the components of the system.
