Hello,
I would like to know if is possible to simulate some data measures with rapidscada before connection to a virtual or real device. I mean, in Scada Server – Generator introducing the password, appears some interface which seems to send some individual data, event or command to the channels. I try to send a 10000 value to channel 101 (t4 input cannel at ADAM-6015 server room, Modbus channel), then I press “send” button and shows to me a confirmation dialog, but anything else. When I try to check the sent data in web charting or SCADA-Communicator Device 11 “ADAM-6015 Server room” (Device data), I don´t see any kind of received data. Also, in communication line stats of this device, in Active Devices part, it shows –> 1. Device 11 “Adam-6015 Server room”: error
Dear Teleco,
Probably you didn’t modify status of sent data using Generator. Set status >= 1 to display the value in SCADA-Web.
Anyway you are able to control sent value and status directly in the archive files those can be opened by SCADA-Server.
SCADA-Communicator “doesn’t know” about values sent by Generator. It dispays error if no connection with device has been established.
