    Good morning, all.
    When trying to change the input channel number of a text component via scripting once a button is clicked, the data the channel reads does not appear on mimic runtime. The thing appears in mimic runtime is the channel NUMBER inside brackets like: [106].

    The Button Action script:
    function (args) {
    console.log(“VALUE”);
    const button = args.component;
    const mimic = button.getMimic();
    const panel = mimic.findComponent(“OT”);
    if (panel) {
    panel.properties.inCnlNum =106;
    panel.customData.requireUpdate = true;
    button.customData.requireUpdate = true;
    }

    Could anyone help?

    Hello,
    Updating channel number does not work, because binding is performed when a mimic is loaded. It should be possible to change other component properties (i.e. colors) on button click.

    So there are no possible ways to perform a channel number update?
