Disregard, I found a issue with a specific modbus register I was trying to alter.

This may help someone or me in the future when looking to how to do this.

    Situation
Rapid Scada installed and operational on Windows and a Rpi 4.
Rapid Scada project built and tested on Windows and now looking to transfer to Rpi 4

Complete what has been mentioned above
“In Administrator create a new deployment profile for Raspberry. Upload all the configuration except Server settings (because they have different file paths).”

The program then transferred across successfully and was running on the Rpi 4. I then went to the server and changed file paths from Windows Default to Linux defaults.

I then went through Administrator on windows and changed all localhost settings to now look at the remote server eg. 192.168.1.10

I can now see the data in line stats from the server in the administrator app.

This is most likely a config issue but I had to re transfer all the plugins to the Rpi opt/scada/ folder. I did this by file transfer over vnc to the desktop and then copy paste from desktop to opt/scada/ folder.

To activate the ChartPro plugin, I had to go chmod ug+rw WebSettings.xml in var/www/…. folder. If you have an issue activating it, it comes up with a fault on the web interface.

Hope this helps someone in the future.

    Further..
To enter registration codes into the program. I transferred the entire project inc. server option.
I then loaded administrator application on Rpi, created new project and performed a download. Then went into each plugin and completed registration.

Noted regarding the refresh, I have since deleted added roles / rights and got it working again under admin. I’ve then re-added the roles / rights / users and it is working.

Update: I went into Interfaces and added the complete path to the interface object, eg. C:\Scada\… I then uploaded the new file and suddenly they appeared in rights tab.

Now I have an issue where no users can access the pages, even admin and guest..

I’m having a similar issue to what has been previously discussed.

I’m creating a new user to view certain tables. I’ve created the user and the role.

When I try to add rights to the role, in the role tab – there is nothing in the interface Object.

I’ve added the folder, the .sch and the .tbl files in the Interface tab. I have the Object selected. I have nothing in Arguments or View Type.

Good program but learning it is difficult with limited detailed information / training. Suggest more YouTube videos.

    Thanks Mikhail,

I see what you mean, I’m not sure how that happened, I since re-added the channels and it is working.

    Furthermore,

I have built this server on the demo version that comes with the project. I can see updated data gathering from the simulator.

    Thanks Mikhail,

    Further investigation as below.

    – Communicator is communicating successfully with field devices. I’ve since change it to login into the server via 192.168.50.47 instead of localhost. I can see it is logging in successfully.

    – The server log doesn’t show and issues.

    – Viewing the archive in the Server – Hourly data is not updating and seems frozen. It’s as if the communicator has been sending the exact same piece of data since it started, even though the communicator see’s updated info?

    – When I change a value on the service archive, I can see the change on the web interface.

I think the issue lies on the server somewhere and not saving updated information that it is receiving from the communicator. All files in archive folder have rwx+ugo

Hope we can solve this issue as I will have to move back to a small micro Windows PC….
