That area is called a Taskbar by Windows 8.1 when I right click on it. You call it a tray. However, it only shows one icon; the Administrator icon.
I uninstalled and reinstalled and got thru steps 1 & 2, but the same result. I can’t do step 3. I clicked on Communicator in the Apps window and nothing appeared. If I go to Task Manager, there are 3 SCADA processes running. However, I did not see the import arrow as shown in step 3.

manjey73 mentioned the system tray. I don’t know if he/she meant the taskbar at the bottom of my Windows screen. If I have the Administrator program open, it shows up in the taskbar. Communicator doesn’t show up anywhere except to tell me that it is already running and the new instance will be deleted.
I looked at task manager yesterday and Communicator is running. But I don’t know how to get it to do what it is supposed to do, as I can’t open it.
To provide the screenshots I would need to uninstall Rapid Scada and re-install.
Maybe I should just go to step 4.
