The program log states it sent : 64 04 00 0A 00 16 58 33
That is correct howeverIn reality it sent :64 04 80 85 80 8b AC E6

Date and time communication session with device 100 “A/W PLC”, type kpmodbus address 100 call number 100
Request element group
Send (8): 64 04 00 0A 00 16 58 33
Receive (0/5) :
Communication errorNow the device was not attached however it would not work anyway with those registers as they are unused.

I should clarify the info I sent you was from a third party software looking at the signals recived by com port the problem I am haveing is the modbus first register is not the one I typed in if I change it the out put allso changes however it is all over the place the no of registers is allso wrong however all other relevent data is correct eg the device Id and function code as for the log ill attach it bellow.

I have the usb sending commands to my plc
My new problem it’s the wrong ones on windows the scada send out 64 04 70 07 00 16 D3 30 this works
On pi it’s 64 04 B0 10 90 71 07 FE for some reason it’s changed I have checked the scadacomm config files and they appear to be the same what’s your thoughtsAsa

I have lost connection to my device (rs232) I am useing a usb to rs232 converter the rpi says it’s device ttyUSB0 what am I doing wrong?Asa
