    Hi,

Any support for BACnet protocol? This is quickly becoming the new standard in automation, be it HVAC, process control, lighting etc. SCADA still utilizes modbus, but BACnet is picking up quick. We have and are continuing to install BACnet devices. With this you can gain a new range of exposure into the HVAC industry where everything is BACnet, I feel like this is a missed opportunity, and will blow the competition out if Rapid SCADA implemented this. Great software as it is now, but add BACnet to it and it will be amazing.

BACnet talks on RS485 “BACnet MSTP” at serial speeds, 9600, 19200, 38400, 76800, etc. and also has BACnet over TCP/IP and BACnet over Ethernet.

Thanks Mikhail for you hard work, awesome software. I will pitch the software to my manager.

    Hi,

There is a topic about BACnet: http://forum.rapidscada.org/?topic=bacnet
In short, it would be great to implement BACnet, but for the current moment there are several the most priority tasks. BACnet can be included in the nearest plan if we find a sponsor for this feature.

Instead of sponsor it could be a guy, who develops a BACnet driver for Rapid SCADA ))
